Journal Entry
I can't believe what a dramatic teenager I was. I was looking through some old stuff. I found an old journal filled with poems. Some seemed to be about nothing but they were important at the time. It makes me laugh for I reacted about somethings. About the boys that never really matter, girls gossiping, and all the other junk. But I sure do miss those days. When I didn't have to about anything real. Guess kids aren't as lucky as we were. With all that's happening now it seems real life is catching up to people before it should. They should just be worrying about who's with who, school, and having fun.

I just found the most amazing pastry shop in the entire universe. And I do mean the most amazing. They have these flaky bread swirl things, I don't even know what they're called in English, let alone French, with just made chocolate glaze and almost-too-hot chocolate filling. They were so good, I almost cried.
And on top of that, I found a little man who paints landscapes that are so, so gorgeous. I bought one of the River Seine, it's lovely. I'm going to frame it and put it in my room.
Do you know what I love most about this trip? I don't have to back to work for another week. The family is all doing different things for the holiday I decided to take my vacation a little early. It's the best thing I could have done because I so needed this.

It has been too long since I last opened this journal, been so busy that I just haven't had the time. I don't know if anyone knows me so I'll introduce myself, I'm Ellie.

There isn't enough hours in the day to finish all the work I have to do. Its seems once I finish one thing there are two new things waiting for me. How is anything suppose to get done? Sometimes it makes me regret working for the Ministry but I don't see where else I should be. Just have to suck it up and maybe it will slow down a bit. Right before the world ends probably.
